A week+ on from the WE Foundation SailGP One Sport Race, sailors reflect on the importance of the event and how it shined a spotlight on #Inclusive Sailing and #EqualOpportunities.
Hosted by the Swiss SailGP Team and the Stiftelsen VI (WE Foundation), the race saw 10 boats competing against each other, with para sailors being paired with SailGP athletes. The team has developed projects that help to promote inclusivity within the sport of sailing and is committed to using its sporting platform to champion One Sport.
WE Foundation SailGP One Sport Race, took place on Thursday 12th October 2023 in front of SailGP’s technical site in Cádiz. One Sport Race is supported by World Sailing and RS Sailing.
